b.1990
I originate from Queens NY, graduated from MICA and currently reside in Philly. Drawing was the most accessible medium growing up in far northeast Queens. Up to this day I prefer line, tonalities and pretendng to be scared as hell when it comes to color. Printmaking welcomed my black and white world and I haven’t left. Art history crossed over with radical movements plays a large role in how I approach compositions. Recently my childhood Latino Roman Catholic upbringing had reemerged in my images.
Favorite Printmaking Technique: Relief/Linocut
