Intro to Monotype: Color and Texture

Monoprinting is a form of printmaking that allows you to create unique, freeform images with every print. It is a low-stakes freeing process that can be incorporated into your personal practice through collage, backgrounds for drawing, color theory practice, and many other possibilities. The objective is to experiment and focus on color and texture.

In this class, students will be using plexiglass plates and found materials such as lace, fresh plant matter, netting, and paper to make layered compositions.

All supplies will be provided for this course.
