Writing creative, concise, context-giving artist statements is a skill important not only for professional and academic settings, but for developing the work itself. Forming language around art helps you to make connections within the work, strengthen concepts, and understand how it reads in the world!
Join us on Sunday, February 19th from 4-7pm for this workshop. Attendees may bring a written artist statement to read and workshop collaboratively. We also encourage bringing images or examples of the work the statement is describing for context. This event is free and open to the general public!
