To print something is to dwell upon it; to see an image in different states, slowly being pieced together to become a whole. You can dwell in many ways and places: a house, a room, a body. The prints within this exhibition confess the messiness of being human, the clutter of being alive, person to person, flesh to flesh, chore to chore. Much like how states capture prints in-progress, the works in States of Dwelling capture snapshots of knowing, of not knowing, and trying to figure it all out.
Opening Reception: Thursday, July 13th from 6-8pm
