Copper plate etching is a traditional form of printmaking that yields a variety of rich lines, textures and marks.

This introductory two-session workshop will demonstrate how to cover plates with an acid resist, etching, inking, and printing using an etching press. We will look at examples of printed works together and discuss the possibilities for translating individual artistic visions into print.
