This 3-hour course will begin with a brief explanation on monoprints and a survey & discussion on flora in art and flower symbolization. Students will choose from a selection of fresh botanicals that they will print onto cards. They will choose flowers with meanings and sentiments that they wish to convey with their cards, though they may choose to forgo the card format and print on single sheets of paper.
