Intro to Linocut

This 4-hour course will begin with a brief presentation and discussion on relief printmaking, and a survey of linocut works on paper. Instructor Kately Towsley will begin with a book share, examining examples of linocut printmaking, printmakers working with linocut, and a few of her own examples. Students will draw, outline, carve, and print a small linocut with a design of their choosing. Instructor Towsley will demo each step of the process, working alongside as students complete their own work.

All supplies will be provided for this course.
