This 4-hour course will run for 3 weekly sessions. The first session will begin with a brief presentation and discussion on reduction printmaking, and a survey of linocut reductions on paper. Students and instructors will participate in book sharing that examines examples of reduction prints. Students will draw, outline, and color block what will eventually be a 3-color linocut reduction printed as an edition of 5.
